Vakantiemodule is a product of 072DESIGN, a web agency in Sint-Pancras in the Netherlands. We have been building and running websites and hosting for small businesses for more than twenty years. In that work you run into the booking systems of holiday rental owners soon enough: you build the site around them, put the module on, and fix the breakages. At some point you know exactly what is wrong with them.
We build for small owners who want an overview and want to look after their guests directly. These choices shape how the product works.
Small owners want to know up front what their system costs. So we charge a fixed monthly amount per package, with no charge per booking, per calendar link or per email sent.
With us: Your monthly amount stays the same, even when more requests come in.
Most of your guests book on a phone, and that is exactly where older systems fall apart: zooming in to tap a date, a calendar that will not fit the screen, a form you cannot finish. A guest who cannot book on their phone does not go and find a laptop. They book somewhere else, and you never even see it happen.
With us: Designed for the phone first and the laptop second. Picking dates, seeing the price and sending a request all work with one thumb.
Support runs through email. That keeps your question clearly on record and gets it answered by someone with the right knowledge of the product.
With us: You get a personal reply, in English or Dutch, from someone who built the product.
The moment a supplier earns on every booking, their interests start to shift. It becomes attractive to route your guests through their channel instead of your site. We do not have that interest, and that was a deliberate choice.
It means something for you too: the better your season runs, the cheaper your system becomes in proportion. We earn from a fair monthly amount, not from a percentage of your success.
